Due to a scheduling conflict, Dr Zach Bush is no longer able to attend the launch party with us on Wednesday 28th June. However, we are delighted to have been able to secure the celebrated Dr Robert Lustig at short notice, as he happens to be in town.
We are thrilled to announce the re-launch of the London Functional Forum Community. In 2016/7, the Evolution of Medicine, in partnership with Clinical Education hosted half a dozen Functional Forum events at the Royal Society of Medicine. This year, Kirkland Newman, founder and editor of MindHealth360 and Clinical Education are delighted to collaborate to bring the Functional Forum back to London. We are excited to create a permanent community in London for all practitioners, innovators and clinicians working to create robust health in their patients
On Wednesday, June 28th, we will welcome the practitioner community back together alongside guest speakers from America in town for The IPM Congress 2023.
As well as Evolution of Medicine Founder James Maskell we welcome Dr Robert Lustig and Dr Lara Salyer from the States, and local NHS GP and Clinical Innovator Dr Ayan Panja.
Dr Robert H. Lustig, M.D., M.S.L. is Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, and Member of the Institute for Health Policy Studies at UCSF. Dr. Lustig is a neuroendocrinologist, with expertise in metabolism, obesity, and nutrition
Dr Lara Salyer is a family physician, who, having left conventional care and built an innovative, membership based functional medicine clinic, now teaches physicians around the world how reconnecting to their creativity can reduce burnout and improve patient outcomes.
Dr Ayan Panja is one of the cofounders of Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine, is an NHS GP and recently wrote a book called the Health Fix. He also hosts a podcast and is a leading educator.
